It was Marijke’s birthday. A great Barossa Valley tour was on the menu, with Be consumed tours. A local produce platter en route along with a tasting of Wayne’s Alinta rose. Then visits to … the Whispering Wall, the delightful Moorooroo Park vineyard cellar door (Jacob’s Creek Resort), a private tasting at Rockford Wines (thanks Joe), Jacob’s Creek Visitors centre, a visit to Maggie Beer’s farm, Roenfeldt Hill vineyard and a private tasting in the glorious Murray Street vineyards function hall at Greenock, with a long table gourmet lunch at the Roenfeldt Hill barrel shed. Drum fire roaring as the afternoon became misty. Group enjoyed the unique corkscrew vine presentation and vine to wine insights. This has to be the best wine region experience in Australia, truly delivering on the Be consumed promise of the Barossa. How good was that!
10 people will receive the discount vouchers, which can be used on any tour where seats are available, in 2014/15
Your pickup point can be from Adelaide hotels/accommodation, or in the Barossa.
The day will include free tastings of wines at up to six cellar doors, which could include the delightful Rockford Wines, Seppeltsfield, Yelland & Papps, Eldertons, Henschke’s (home of Hill of Grace), Yalumba, Kalleske Wines, Whistler Wines, the magnificent Jacobs Creek visitors centre, as well as a stopover at Maggie Beers.
The winners names will be drawn from a hat, filled with correctly completed entries on June 30th 2014.
A pickup point in or near the city of Adelaide will be communicated to the winners.

Guests choosing our tours are able to enjoy a rustic, Be consumed style gourmet lunch in the Barossa. Our Roenfeldt Hill wines barrel shed is set up with a kitchen where host Wayne dons his chef’s apron and cooks up a storm!
Typically on the menu:
En- route, mid morning snack
Barossa platter of local metwurst, cheeses, olives, sun dried tomatoes, snow peas, fig or other in-season fruit
Gourmet BBQ lunch includes….
– Poppy seeded scroll bread from Linke’s bakery with rich natural butter
– Oversized black pepper kebabs. Selected Barossa porterhouse steak, onion, green pepper, red pepper, mushroom, baby tomato, seasoned with black pepper and sea salt.
– Crispy roasted pork hock
– English pork sausage, marinated in crushed ginger, garlic and other home grown herbs.
– Roasted sweet potato, infused with butter and Kurianda pear chutney
– Roasted corn cobs with gently steamed long broccoli and carrots, golden squash (in season)
Home made bread and butter pudding, with sultanas and figs or other in- season fruits, baked for 2 hours. Served with fresh cream or our own macadamia, honey and caramel ice cream. Or, a baked Granny Smith apple, its removed core stuffed with rains, dates, coconut and cinnamon, with a generous scoop of our home made ice cream.
