- We have been grape growers for 20 years, and winemakers for 13 years. Our winemaking and viticultural knowledge is unsurpassed amongst tour providers, but without pretences. We also love to have a laugh.
- No other tour provider invests the time and effort that we do. We seek at the end of the day to be hearing comments like “How good was that!” We start the earliest and finish the latest. A private day means you can nominate the time you would like pick up and return.
- For every tour we prepare a customised itinerary. We use the preferences information you provide in your enquiry to ensure your tour is an amazing one.
- Lonegevity. We are one of the state’s longest established tour businesses, celebrating our 10th year in the tours business.
- We are locally owned and operated. With us, you will not find a sub contracted operator/driver turn up for your tour. Beware – this is common. A number of advertisements you might see in a Google search are actually by agencies, some overseas. At least one locally is an agency which distributes tour jobs to sub contractors.
- Reliability. We have never phoned a guest group the day or evening prior, to say we are not going, due to lack of numbers, as is common with some other operators.
- Knowledge and story telling. We love to share the history of the regions, and are well versed in this
- We like to have some laughs. Your day with us is always relaxed and fun. And we are the only tour operators with hi fi sound and vision systems to have some singalong and comedy fun at end of day
- Wayne is your host as well as the driver, so he stays with you at the winery cellar doors. He will introduce you to the cellar door staff and ensure you are settled in. Although he will sit separately, he doesn’t go and wait in the vehicle like most tour hosts do. Some of the wineries have him accredited to provide their venue/winery tours when they are busy or don’t have the staff available.
- A mid-morning, roadside or park stopover for a snack and a taste of some of our wines, is a standard feature of your day. You may even get to try some of our home-made pastries, jams and sauces. Move over Maggie Beer!
- We provide a pack and send service for loose wines you might purchase on the day, utilising our trade accounts with Couriers Please, Australia Post and DHL/Get Freighted (for international shipments).
- Customer service. You will find us easy to communicate with and our processes polished.
- Payment flexibility. We don’t believe in asking you to make full payment until we have delivered your tour.
- Choice of vehicles. We have two vehicles, a luxury 5 pax van and a 12 pax minibus. Our luxury Mitsubishi van is a true four wheel drive. We go places the others dare not!
